Inspiring younger students
There is no typical student journey to Oxford. Some candidates may always have aspired to pursue a particular course at Oxford, while others will decide to apply at a late stage. While admissions support and advice is most appropriate for students as they start to seriously consider their application, teachers can play a vital part in inspiring their students at any stage to explore beyond the curriculum and develop their academic interests.
Oxford provides a number of super-curricular resources. These include the ‘Home of Big Questions’, Oxplore, which reflects the kind of thinking students might do at top universities, and Oxford Sparks which features accessible takes on the latest scientific research at Oxford. These can be used in the classroom or independently to raise aspirations of students. Find out more about Digital Interaction.
